We have developed a Damage Prevention Program focused on raising awareness among the general population about the risks of working around the controlled area of a pipeline without authorization and without the presence of TGN.
Safety is our priority, that is why we apply national and international best practices.
Pipeline marker signs are located all along our pipeline system and on the surrounding area of the location of the pipeline. The signs alert the presence of a pipeline and contains the emergency contact number.
It is crucial to be conscious of the risk of working near a gas pipeline without the appropriate safety measures and supervision.
Controlled area
Not digging or building
within 30 meters on either side of the pipeline without TGN's authorization and supervision.
Not tree planting
within 12.5 meters on either side of the pipeline. You can cultivate land.
Do not light fire
Do not use heavy machinery or heavy vehicles,
pipeline is not designed to support such heavy load.

Statistics show that the main cause for accidents and emergencies on a pipeline are caused by people undertaking works over or near the pipelines without the appropriate supervision.
